The designer, John Beardsley, studied engineering at the University of California Santa Barbara (UCSB), graduating in 1989. He has spent the last 3 years perfecting this design and the construction techniques. Mr. Beardsley speaks French and Spanish fluently. | |||

After paying off its start-up loans, RioMar Yachts will be entirely owned and managed by its workers. We have no debts, nor proprietors, nor shareholders. This gives us the extra measure of motivation and pride in our work!
